Mushroom Pork Chops

Our FoodLand Pork Chops are seasoned and seared to golden perfection and then simmered in a creamy mushroom gravy
With all the ingredients available at our Econo Foods stores, either in-store or online

Directions

  1. Season pork chops to taste with Six Taste Spice and pepper.
  2. Heat an oiled pan on medium-high heat and brown the pork chops on both sides. Remove the browned pork from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft and translucent. Sprinkle in the thyme and add the mushrooms.
  4. Sauté the mushrooms for 3 minutes and add the stock and water, scraping the delicious brown bits stuck to the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add the pork to the gravy and allow to simmer for 5 minutes then add the chopped spinach. Let it cook for 3 minutes before adding the cream.
  6. Let simmer to reduce and create a thick gravy and season to taste. Enjoy!

  • 2 Tbsp Oil

  • FoodLand Pork Chops

  • Spiceman’s Six Taste Meat Grill Seasoning

  • ⅓ Cup Nature’s Garden Diced Onion

  • 1 Tbsp chopped Garlic

  • ½ Cup McCain Chopped Spinach

  • 100g Denny Sliced Mushrooms

  • 1 Tsp Knorr Chicken Stock Granules

  • 1 Tsp Dried Thyme

  • ½ Cup Water

  • ½ Cup Meadowland Long Life Cream

  • Salt and Pepper
