Hake Pops

Hake pops are a fun way to enjoy our broken hake fillets.
With all the ingredients available at our Econo Foods stores, either in-store or online

Directions

  1. Cut the fillets into cubes
  2. Combine seasoning with flour
  3. Beat egg and milk together in a separate bowl
  4. Toss the hake in flour then, dip them into egg mixture and back into the flour again.
  5. Deep fry for 5 minutes and there you have it, the perfect snack.

Ingredients

  • Econofoods broken hake fillets

  • 1 FoodLand egg

  • 1/4 cup First Choice milk

  • 1/2 cup Golden Cloud flour

  • 1/4 cup favorite fish seasoning

  • Oil for frying
