COMPETITION: TERMS & CONDITIONS
Econo Foods and participating suppliers (collectively referred to as “the Promoter”) are running a Lucky Draw (“the Competition”) where two (2) customers stand a chance of winning 1x Nutribullet 600 (“the Prize”) when participating in the Competition. By your participation, you agree that these Terms and Conditions will govern all aspects of your relationship with the Competition and competition-related agents and the Promoter. These Terms and Conditions can only be modified by the Promoter based on the sole discretion of the Promoter.

Duration
The competition opens on 10 February 2023 and closes on 31 March 2023 at 00:00 midnight. The duration of the Competition may be extended at the discretion of the Promoter.

Eligibility
Directors, members, partners, employees (including their friends and family members), agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter or marketing service providers in respect of the Competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify your entry if it concludes that: a) you have submitted a fraudulent entry, or, b) you have acted in violation of the Terms and Conditions of the Competition. The decision of the Promoter shall be final and binding in all respects and you agree to be bound by the same.

Valid Entry
The Competition is open to the legal residents of South Africa, at least 18 years and older.
In order to stand a chance of winning, participants should enter the Competition by purchasing one of the ten participating products namely Blueberry, Mango, Mixed Berries, Pineapple, Strawberry, Red Smoothie Blend, Yellow Smoothie Blend or Green Smoothie Blend between 10 February 2023 and 31 March 2023. Only participants who purchased any participating product will be considered as a valid entry.
Participants should enter the Competition by entering their purchase details as stipulated online on the Econo Foods website (www.econofoods.co.za / shop.econofoods.co.za) or the QR link provided on promotional material.
The participants will be required to enter their Invoice Number that appears on their slip, if purchased in-store, or Order Number, if purchased on the Econo Foods online store (shop.econofoods.co.za). The purchase needs to be made between 10 February 2023 and 31 March 2023.
Participants are allowed to enter multiple times provided a new purchase is made each time.
By entering into the Competition, the participant acknowledges that he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read the Terms and Conditions of the Competition before entering and that he/she understands and hereby agrees to the Terms and Conditions.
A Winner will only be eligible to enter three (3) months after winning a prize.

The Prize is not transferable, assignable or refundable and cannot be substituted for cash.
The Prize must be accepted as awarded. Claiming of The Prize expires after 48 hours of having been contacted by Econo Foods.

Limitations of Liability
By taking part in the Competition, the participant agrees to release the Promoter and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective employees, agents, and representatives (collectively referred to as “the Entities”) from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, losses, death that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or with participation in the Competition. By taking part in the Competition, you agree that no claim relating to such injuries, damages, losses or death shall be asserted against any of the Entities.

Winner Selection and Notification
The winner selection and notification will take place on 7 April 2023. The winners will be selected at random. This will be done by an automated process or a process which will be conducted or supervised by an independent person, or as otherwise indicated by the Promoter.
To be eligible to claim the Prize, the winner must be contactable and respond within two (2) days from the date of receipt of correspondence from the Promoter. Failure to respond within the stipulated timeframe will result in the Prize being forfeited by the prize winner. In such an event, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize will be delivered to the winner’s nearest Econo Foods branch and does not include transport to the winner’s residence, workplace, or any other requested site. The winner will be responsible of collecting the Prize themselves. Failure to collect the Prize by 7 May 2023 will result in the Prize being forfeited by the prize winner.
Unless expressly stated within these Terms and Conditions, all other expenses incidental to the enjoyment of the Prize is the responsibility of the winner. The winner agrees to comply with such Terms and Conditions in connection with the winner’s enjoyment of the Prize.

Personal Information
Any personal data relating to the Winner or any other Participants will be used solely in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Information Act, 4 of 2013 and will not be disclosed to a third party without the Participant’s prior consent.
The Participant by taking part in the Competition consents to his/her personal information to be shared with the Promoter’s employees, contractors or agents for the purpose of this Promotional Competition and for the purpose of sharing future promotions.

Rights of Publicity
By participating in the Competition, the Winner hereby accepts that the Winner will be asked to take part in further publicity in relation to the Competition, with the Winner’s permission, the Promoter may incorporate the Winner in publicity campaign, broadcast or allow their names, biographical information and any statement the winner makes in connection with the Competition or about the Promoter to be used for advertising and promotional purposes aligned with the business, including but not limited to posting photos on the Promoter’s website and social media pages.

General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions of the Competition, including the substitution of a prize, which will become effective upon announcement.
If for any reason the Competition is not capable of being conducted as described in these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
No member of the Promoter is responsible for lost, delayed, misdirect, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond the control of the Promoter which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters pertaining to the competition will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
