Poached Egg and Salmon Toast

This Creamy Hake Pan is the perfect way to get things started for the weekend. It only requires 7 ingredients and will be ready in under 20 minutes.

Directions

  1. Clean and season hake with Fish Spice on both sides and set aside.
  2. In a pan set on medium heat, melt the butter and sear the hake fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, but not fully cooked through and then remove from the pan.
  3. In the same pan sauté the garlic until fragrant and then add frozen spinach. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the spinach is fully heated through and cooked.
  4. Season with the Knorr Chicken Stock Granules and add cream. Bring to a simmer and return hake to the pan to allow it to cook through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, if needed, and a splash of lemon juice is optional.
