Honey & Garlic Salmon

Norwegian Salmon pan seared and glazed with a sweet and savoury sauce made with a few simple ingredients. Serve it over rice or steamed vegetables for a delicious meal.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Season Salmon with salt and pepper on all sides.
  3. In a pan, heat oil. When oil is hot, but not smoking, add salmon skin-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until the golden. Do this on all sides being careful not to overcook the salmon.
  4. Add garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
  5. Add the soy mixture and cook until sauce is reduced by about a third.
  6. Baste salmon with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.

  • Aquatic Foods Salmon, cut into fillets

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 1 tbsp Crushed Garlic

  • 1/3 cup Liberty Honey

  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil, divided
